Trends in Not for Profit Governance
Please join us to discuss trends in Not-For-Profit Governance. While missions and structures differ between not-for-profit and for-profit organizations, there are many principles and fundamentals that are driving the success of both types of organizations. Many forward thinking not-for- profit organizations are looking to reduce expenses, attract highly skilled and competent board members, institute sound financial practices, and consider strategic partnerships, as well as other best practices, to be able to better perform and deliver on their mission. Mark Oster, Grant Thornton's National Leader of the Not-For-Profit Sector, will lead a discussion on trends and leading best practices for not-for-profit governance, and changes that are occurring in this very large sector of our economy. Mark will leverage Grant Thornton's 2015 State of the Not-for-Profit Sector report to help lead an interactive discussion with a panel of not-for-profit board members and the audience.
